Dr Tracie Anne Lazaroo

Dr Tracie has over 10 years of experience working with people in the mental health field. She has completed her Doctor of Clinical Psychology programme at James Cook University (Singapore). She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours (majoring in Neuroscience and Psychology) from the University of Western Australia. Dr Tracie has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various government and private hospitals as well as in educational and community outreach programmes.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Tracie conducts comprehensive psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments for learning and neurological concerns. Her therapeutic framework includes evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based approaches, and brief therapy models, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Dr. Tracie continuously updates her skills to ensure the best possible care for her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Tracie enjoys staying active, traveling, cooking for loved ones, and spending quality time with family and friends. She believes in the resilience and strength of every individual, and is passionate about helping people overcome adversity and fear to lead purposeful, fulfilling lives.

Dr. Tracie is a clinical psychologist specializing in Health Psychology and working with families, with a focus on providing support to individuals experiencing medically unexplained symptoms, chronic pain, and long-term health issues. With advanced training in addressing psychosomatic conditions, she integrates physical and mental health care to support holistic recovery. Dr. Tracie also has extensive expertise working with dementia patients and their families, as well as those facing other cognitive challenges.

Her approach emphasizes the mind-body connection, recognizing the importance of treating the whole person. Dr. Tracie is deeply committed to helping individuals navigate emotional and psychological issues, including interpersonal difficulties, eating disorders, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, trauma, mood disorders, and severe psychiatric conditions with psychotic features. She provides both therapeutic interventions and educational support, working with families and other healthcare professionals to enhance understanding and care.
